Keratin is the same protein your hair is made of — so the bond is biocompatible, lightweight, and lies flat against your scalp.

The result: individual strand movement with the strongest hold of any strand-by-strand method. Each extension strand swings, falls, and curls independently — but stays locked in place for 3-5 months between salon visits. How U-Tips Work

Keratin Fusion: The "U" shape of the keratin tip creates a cradle. Your natural hair sits in the centre of the U, and when heat is applied, the keratin melts and wraps around the hair from both sides. As it cools, it forms a bond that's flexible but extremely strong — designed to withstand daily washing, styling, and movement.

Heat Application: A specialised heat connector tool is used at a controlled temperature to melt only the keratin tip — not your hair. The process is precise and localised. Your natural hair is not heated directly; only the keratin is activated.

Strongest Strand-by-Strand Bond: Compared to bead methods (Nano Tips, I-Tips), the keratin fusion creates a bond that grips the hair at a molecular level rather than through mechanical clamping. This makes it the preferred method for thick, heavy, or coarse hair where beads might slip under the weight.
